Hootie Creek Guest House

A unique stay..

Last Updated 8/20/2026

We are nothing like the modern chain hotels. Hootie Creek was build in 1948 by the Taylor family and operated as the Taylor inn until 1999 when it closed. A few years later new ownership bought the hotel and began renovations and renamed the hotel after there favorite cookie, the hooty creek cookie, (note the spelling change). The hallways display pictures and antiques, all a part of the towns and buildings history, (no random staging). Unique and interesting we strive to be a memorable experience not just another room you rented while traveling. Check out our website https://www.hootiecreekhouse.com/ to see more details and book a room for that getaway you have been wanting to take.
